24 days and a book

I am thankful for:

  1. toast
  2. CSI
  3. Shriners Hospitals
  4. ice hockey
  5. contact lenses
  6. fire fighters
  7. camp fires

It’s Wednesday, so it’s time to Read Along with Ginny again.  I’m still listening to Harry Potter, and I’m waiting for my turn to read Black House to come up again.  In the mean time, one of the parents at our homeschool park day has organized a book club for the kids.  They’re reading The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain.  Thing 2 wants to participate, and since I’ve never read the book, I’m reading it too.

The shawl.  Oh, the shawl.  The mistakes.  The ripping back.  The deadline.  I’m still behind.  Still, though, I persist.
